Motive uncertain in NW Harris County shooting death

A man whose identity has not been released was found fatally shot inside his car in northwest Harris County on Wednesday.  Authorities believe the assailants had targeted this man specifically.  Witnesses along the 13500 block of Weiman heard gunfire and then saw a black SUV speed away from the area around 5:15 pm.  The man, in his early to mid 20s, had been shot to death in the driver’s seat of a two-door silver-colored sedan.  It does appear that the victim lived in the area.  A resident who saw the attack noticed at least one person getting out of the SUV and opened fire after walking over to the sedan.  There is no known motive for the killing at this time.
