Former teacher and soccer coach Bruce Unger was sentenced to 40 years in prison for aggravated assault of a child and other counts this week. Opening statements had been set for next week. Unger pled guilty to all charges, including bond jumping. Unger was arrested in November 2006 on charges that he fondled two boys.
Unger was then arrested again in early 2007 on three additional counts of indecency with a child and one count of aggravated sexual assault of a child.
The Bryan-College Station Eagle reports more people have come forward with child molestation accusations after Unger’s first arrest.
Neal was a former Elementary School teacher in the city of Bryan.
He had fled to the Ukraine, where he was caught in 2008 teaching English in a small town.
